Is anyone playing WoW on a dial-up connection? I'm curious to know how it affects the game's performance.

I played my first three months of WoW on a dial-up connection. Things get a little freeze-frame at times in big cities like Orgrimmar, but I found it playable enough to get hooked on. If you have DSL available to you, odds are good that you'll get the max speed that a dial-up connection can offer - the phone company has to improve the phone lines to get decent DSL performance. Worth a try, imo.
